All sales at USCargotools on-line catalog are sold F.O.B. Origin, Freight Allowed (see definitions). In other words, ownership and responsibility for the property changes hands when the item is tendered to the carrier. Basic commercial shipping charges are pre-paid, and included in the purchase price (see “shipping info"). Shipping services we arrange are for your convenience, and have no affect on the terms of sale. Motor freight services are governed by the US "Uniform Domestic Bill of Lading", and the individual carrier’s tariffs.

While we make reasonable efforts to insure the accuracy of the information presented, we make no warranty that it is free of errors or omissions. You agree that USC will not be liable for any damages (either direct, or indirect) as a result of the use of, or reliance upon any information presented herein.
All ratings, specifications, load limits, lead times, transit times, etc., listed on this website are subject to change without notice. It is the buyers (and/or users) responsibility to inspect the product before use, and to read, and understand all documentation included with the product. In any, and all events, the liability of USC will be limited to the purchase price of the respective product or service. If you live in a state that prohibits the above limitation of liability, you agree that USC's maximum liability is $500 USD.
We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards. All credit card transactions are pre-authorized at the time of sale. The charge is not actually submitted to your bank for payment until the item has been tendered to the carrier for delivery. Credit card information may be submitted securely in “real time” via your web browser. Credit card information may also be transmitted in person, via facsimile, or via telephone. However; please do not send us (or anyone) credit card information via unsecured email, or web forms. We also accept pre-payment by any business check drawn on a US bank. Foreign sales transactions are normally performed via wire transfer. Commercial credit terms may be made available when a need for continuing credit is established. Unless a tax exemption, or re-sale certification has been provided, USC is required by law to collect sales taxes on behalf of the states of New York, and New Jersey. We monitor tax laws to insure continued compliance with applicable regulations as they develop.
If your billing address is located within our taxable area, and you believe you are exempt from sales taxes, you can print your shopping basket, and fax it to us at (908-359-0094). Warranty information listed in the catalog refer to warranties provided by the original manufacturer, extensions of the manufacturer's warranty provided by USCargotools ("USC"), and an overall 1 year part replacement warranty (provided by USC) that covers every product we sell. The original manufacturer's warranty takes precedence. USC's warranty coverage is either a supplement to the manufacturer's warranty, or a stand alone warranty when the manufacturer does not provide one. Each warranty is subject to individual terms and conditions. Where USC's extended warranty applies, the manufacturer's original terms and conditions remain in effect. Shipping is not included in warranty replacement services. USC makes no other warrantees, and has no liability with regard to product delivery, or product suitability. See Liability limitations for more information in that regard.
Your 100% satisfaction is our goal. Therefore, if you are unsatisfied with your purchase when it arrives please contact us as soon as possible. We will make a good faith effort to correct the situation to your satisfaction.
If your order is not correct, please contact us immediately If the problem is due to an error on our part, we will correct it at our own expense (including any applicable freight charges).
If the order is correct, and the product is not defective, non-customized items may be returned (freight pre-paid) for credit. Most stock items receive full credit (less shipping costs) if returned in a new, re-saleable condition. A restocking fee applies on electronic scales, and most items that are shipped factory direct. Restocking fees range from 10 to 25% (when applicable). Items must be returned in the original (reusable) packaging, within 14 days of our delivery to the carrier. If items require new packaging before resale, those costs will be deducted from the credit.
Return of used items: We do not refurbish used merchandise for re-sale as new products. In order to protect against the exploitation of our return policy, items that we determine (at our sole discretion) have been used, and/or are no longer resalable as new, will receive credit from 0 to 50% of the original sales price.
If a product is found to be defective within the manufacturers specified warranty period, you may either contact us, or the manufacturer for warrantee service in accordance with the applicable warrantee policy.
Please contact us prior to initiating any return. A return authorization must accompany all returned merchandise. Credits will be issued promptly (less freight costs, and any applicable restocking fees). Unauthorized, "freight collect" returns will not be accepted.
Please be sure to carefully inspect your merchandise upon delivery. If any damage, or shortage is present, it is extremely important to make appropriate notations on the delivery receipt, and to save all packaging materials. It is usually best not to refuse delivery unless the merchandise is completely destroyed, and has no value remaining. If hidden exceptions are found after delivery, it is imperative that you notify the carrier immediately upon discovery. If delivery exceptions occur, please contact us as soon as possible, so we can help resolve the situation to your satisfaction. Though we are eager to assist in any way possible, the consignee has a responsibility to file freight claims if necessary.
